Crosswire 8.2.0 Released

Crosswire 8.2.0 is now available through the usual channels. This is a major release and includes several bug fixes, and the following new functionality and improvements:

  • Monitored messages that require an ack from the field, e.g. welfare check
  • Callgroup affiliation through Node API for DMR terminals in addition to existing DIP interface
  • Current or last known group affiliations now displayed in terminal status
  • Emergency calls can be optionally pinned to the top of the call stack and call history
  • New contact list for managing external contacts and phone numbers
  • On-the-fly patching between DMR Tier 3 calls
  • On-the-fly patching between SIP and DMR Tier 3 call
  • Customisable shortcut key combinations for the majority of UI actions
  • New task action for setting the active terminal for a person, vehicle, or convoy
  • New task action for enabling/disabling patches
  • Added the ability to specify custom icons for resource types (people, vehicles, convoys)
  • Updated and improved structure for configuration menus
  • Option to add an outbound radio id prefix to SAM and ORC interfaces for addressing terminals over CCDI protocol
  • Network tree categories (e.g. call groups) are now hidden if there are no corresponding resources defined
  • Implemented user presence to indicate whether logged on users are online, on a break, away etc
  • Added option to disable to menu tooltips in the Client
