Incorporated in 2006, Xworks are proud to have provided nearly 20 years of mission critical engineering solutions and support across a broad range of industries and business sectors.

Our products are used in a range of demanding operational environments, where reliability is essential, and down-time can cost lives.  These include transportation, mining and utilities sectors within New Zealand, Australia, the United Kingdom, and greater Asia Pacific region.

Our home market customers include a substantial proportion of electricity distributors, along with our national rail operator.  Internationally, we have a diverse installation base covering various mines, airports, ports, local authorities (city and district councils), water utilities, taxi companies and other public transport providers (buses, trams etc).

We have extensive experience with Radio Dispatch and Radio over IP (RoIP) technologies, developing both hardware and software for the mobile radio industry.  Our products are interoperable with a range of Analogue, DMR Tier 2 and DMR Tier 3 radio systems from several different vendors, including Tait Communications, Hytera and Radio Activity.

We also have an established history providing railway telematics products and custom rail safety augmentation systems utilising cellular data networks.  Our products are used for GPS tracking of freight and commuter locomotives, along with other rail capable maintenance vehicles on a 24/7 basis.  These products also perform critical track worker protection and track warrant enforcement functions using geo-located data.

Our ability to design, develop, manufacture and supply, robust, reliable communication and telematics solutions sets us apart.  We stand behind our products and commit to providing support for their full service life, many of which have been in continuous operation for at least 15 years.
